How quickly can I get an appointment?

Most people get scheduled within a week. We prioritize urgent cases and work hard to find the fastest available appointments based on your needs and preferences.

Do you only help adults?

No! We help people of all ages—children, teens, adults, and seniors. Whether you're looking for care for yourself or a loved one, we're here to help.

What if I don't know what type of provider I need?

That's exactly what we're here for! Our navigators will ask you questions to understand your unique needs and recommend the right type of care—whether that's therapy, psychiatry, or specialized treatment.

Is my information confidential?

Does Navi work in all 50 states?

Yes. Navi helps people in all 50 U.S. states find therapy or psychiatry, with virtual and in-person options depending on what fits and what's available.

Can Navi help if I have Medicaid, Medicare, or no insurance?

Yes. Navigators work with commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and uninsured or self-pay options. They check coverage before matching you so you are not sent to a provider who cannot see you.

Is Navi a crisis line or a medical practice?

No. Navi is a care navigation service, not a crisis line and not a healthcare provider. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis, call or text 988. Navi does not give clinical advice or provide therapy or psychiatry.

How does Navi make money if the service is free to me?

Consumers pay $0. Partner practices and platforms pay Navi when a successful match is made. There is no membership fee and no charge to call.

Do you provide therapy or prescribe medication?

No. Navi navigators help you understand options and connect you with licensed therapists, psychiatrists, and partner programs. Diagnosis, treatment, and prescriptions are solely between you and the provider you choose.

Can I get virtual therapy through Navi?

Yes. You can ask for virtual (online) sessions, in-person care, or whichever is available sooner. Coverage and provider availability vary by location and insurance.

How do practices join Navi and receive patients?

Mental health practices and clinics can request to join the Navi network. When Navi makes a successful match, partners receive the referred patient. Use the partner inquiry form on the Partners page to start a conversation.

Is Navi Practices a different company from Navi at withnavi.co?

No. Navi Practices (withnavicare.com) and the consumer site at withnavi.co are the same organization — Self Personal Health, Inc. doing business as Navi / Navi Care. This site is the practice and partner face of that navigation service.
